Microsoft Dynamics AX Is More Than An ERP Platform; It Will Handle 'Zero Earnings' Payroll Flawlessly.

It’s the kind of software enhancement within Dynamics that is sure to bring a quick smile to those entrusted with churning out the payroll. Normal employee cycles can impede certain record keeping tasks, either with separate spreadsheets to account for those ‘zero earnings’ pay statements.

Okay, this is not geared toward those summer interns who may be working just for the experience. More so, its a feature due out this fall to bolster Microsoft’s Dynamics AX Payroll module. Dubbed ‘critical’ features, accounting can now create that internal code on an employee’s payroll statements to show ‘no earnings,’ or maybe hours with no dollar amount attached.

In the past, such statements were left behind in the system and never processed. It’s appropriate to generate such zero payrolls, for example, if someone’s hours need adjusting (but not the dollars). Now, all of the data will continue to move through the system with adjustments automatically made to show the impact of any benefits or taxes.

Of course, when asking "What is microsoft dynamics ax?" you realize it's much more than an accounting platform. It provides an almost instant ‘customization’ in an out-of-the-box solutioin for manufacturing, retail, services and the public sector.

For instance, if you’re a manufacturer you’ll see the immediate impact of its capability to provide supply chain management. With it, operational managers can track the flow of goods, raw materials as well as those projects that are ongoing.

Finished goods? Tracking by ‘lots’ from the warehouse and throughout the distribution chain is made and easy and collaborative process: decision makers can access data from their office, in the field or on the road through their mobile devices.
